Early this summer I really started to get the itch to ride agian.I sold my last bike 8 years ago.So I decide I will be smart and hold off till the fall and find a good deal.Well I decide on the type of bike I want and start looking to see the going prices.I find the Radian goes for $600-$1400 on ebay depending on condition.Great I'm not looking to spend more then $1000.Well I finally win an auction in my price range($1000).But its not just 1 bike its 3.All in need of some tlc.2 Radians and a virago.! Radian is a parts bike.

Now the fun part the bikes are in Indiana 700+ miles away.Well I got lucky my brother in law was going out nthat way the next weekend.I was able to convince him($) to pick them up for me.
I now have the first radian running.Rode it today what a day for end of November.

Oh I almost forgot.about 3 weeks after these came home I was given(yes you read that right) another bike.I was doing some tree work when the ccustomers neighbor asks me if I want a motorcycle. How can I say no to free.

It is a 1977 Kawasaki KZ400 with 633 miles on it.The bike has not been registered since 1979.I have to get this running just because.
Well in my attempt to stop gun whoring I have become a bike whore. When I brought the last one home The wife actually said "you can't start collecting bikes. We don't have anywhere to put them"Well my shed will hold 2 and my brother in law has offered the use of his shed.Winter projects to keep me busy .

That kz is sweet you lucky bastard! I love bike also; I grew up with my dad owning about 13. He's got 16 now I think.. I have 3 myself now and I love them all. I'm a HUGE fan of cafe racers. My favorites are the british bike from the 60's. My three are all 70's SOHC Honda 4's.

PS, I also have some virago parts from a recent major fuel system upgrade, if needed.

Great deal you got there. Way to go.

As each year passes I want more and more to get a bike. Maybe this year will be my year? Or maybe more likely the year after since if things go as I am hoping, this year will have funds go to other things.

Have a great time fixing and riding!

I just have to get it running and ride it.Its a shame that it sat for so many years.
I can't remember what town in Indiana.
Harley are nice just not my thing.
Azzy I'll have to pass on the Cane.

I rode to work today. It was 40 when I left my house .The other guy that rode in Only has a 12 mile ride mine is 35.When I got there my fingers were numb.Yes I have decent gloves.Part of my ride is highway so 70-80mph is the normal speed if you don't want to get run over.Makes for a bit of wind chill.
