Saving Video from YouTube?

Some of you seem very tech savy so I pose this question to you all.
Is there a way to save a video that is posted on YouTube to my hard drive to edit for a presentation?

Put the link to the Youtube video you want to save in there and it'll give you a direct download link. The download will still be in Flash movie format, which isn't the greatest for editing, but I don't know of any way to get it in the original uploaded video format.
