Mystery Watch: My Google-Fu is Weak

Greetings all.

I have a watch that has been sitting on my dresser for about two years now that I have never worn. I know NOTHING about watches and decided to take a look to see what I could find out about it, which turns out to be not very much at all.

It is a Bulova stainless steel bracelet. The owner's guide is book no. 561 and says CHRONO FS00. I can find the owner's guide online, but that is about it. I haven't been able to find a single one for sale on ebay or any other site. Google really didn't have any useful information either.

I am basically curious about the value/quality of the watch.

Does anyone know about them? Perhaps someone with stronger google-fu than mine?

also, there should be a model number etched somewhere on the watch itself. probably on the back?

also, they are fairly pricey watches

No, that's not it - good try, though. The watch looks very similar to a 98C004, but is not one. I'm starting to wonder if its a copy or something...

Etched on the back are the following:

Bulova
St. Steel
Water Resistant
C8671080

I assume the number is a serial.

Yup. That's the online owner's guide that I mentioned in my first post. Doesn't really tell you much about the quality of the watch, though.

I don't understand how it's possible that there isn't one for sale on the entire internet...

Been there as well, but I didn't see a watch exactly like mine. Nothing came up when I did a search either.

Either the style is discontinued or it is identified by some other model number that I am unaware of.

I know this is an old post but I have the same watch that you have, same serial number and everything. I cant find anything out about this watch either. Have you found any information yet?
