What is the cat looking at....

I get out of the shower earlier and notice that the cat is sitting just outside the doorway staring at something rather oddly. Curious, as I get closer I hear this noise, much like a waterfall. As I step around the corner into the office, I see the wave of water coming across the carpet, and water spewing every direction it can come out of the tank cabinet. The outlet hose on my Fluval filter popped loose somehow, and was pumping water out under the stand. With no head pressure, and with gravity working for it there was a WHOLE lot of water. So needless to say, I was venting a bit. I step out into the garage and in a loud voice said "Son of a (female dog)"....

About 30 mins before this all happened, our insurance adjuster had called to let us know he was on the way. We have a roof leak, and it has been kind of a confusing situation working with the contractor that is doing the repairs, and our insurance rep, who is also a contractor. The moment I step out, saying what I am saying...and this insurance guy had just pulled up and was getting out of his car. Here I am, looking pissed, and cussing, so obviously he thinks that because of the situation that I am about to come whip his butt or something. He knows nothing about the fish tank, of course.

Awkward moment of the week.........

The rest was a study in backpedaling, and attempting to explain to the guy what was actually going on, while he is trying his best to get back in the car, and out of here QUICK...with a 15' extension ladder in his hands.....
