I knew about the .22 conversion kits. I ended up getting the Glock, I like it a lot and I think I got a good deal on it

Yeah, it is. I hope you bought it new, because there is key points you oil and other you use grease. Glock listened to us after using them in maritime operations and started to use grease on the slide because the brine would strip the CLP or LSA off in the water. It's easy once you do it. And you don't have to grease it everytime to fieldstrip and clean it.If not call them and they'll send you a hand book.

topglock.com has the grease there to buy. You got a G17 I recommend an extended slide release for it.I have huge hands but I don't know about yours. Pretty much it's good to go.Have fun with it! Oh, if your going to use it as a carry. Stay away from Mecgar mag's for Glock.I had some mixed in my range bag with glock one's. And I grabed them to use for my qual I got stovepipes with them and double feed. I use those for range and snapcaps, but not carry or qual.

I'll probably get the extended slide release and I think I heard somewhere that they have extended mag releases also so I'll probably pick one of them up too. Other than Trijicons thats probably all I'll do to it.

Yeah, sounds like your set! yeah they have both. It's up to you on the mag release but here's a tip. While sitting watching t.v with no magazine or ammo cycle the slide. It will break the recoil spring in so it won't be as tuff' to "rack" the slide. Do the same for the mag' release button. It's stiff. I had a bad seat on my 21Sf and had to re seat the release spring.

You might want to add a 3.5 lb disconnector to that list. Cheap and gives a lighter trigger. I wouldn't if you plan on carrying it concealed.
