GREAT site! Al posted about it over on the old MCB. I've picked up a few things from there - bread maker, 21 channel radio watches, some other stuff. Today's special is a pair of wireless Zyxel 802.11G PCI Cards.

I love the product description there, "never again see your cousin Frank go for the vodka and catch his toe on the ethernet cable that rips your laptop into a flatspin so tight and terrifying that you can hear the little whispered goodbyes out of each tiny speaker."
That's funny!
So is this something to permanently install in a laptop to chunk the PCMCIA card I currently have?

I visit that site almost daily. The "Woot-Offs" are the best, be sure to listen to the theme song too.

Nothing beats the bag of crap. I paid 8 dollars, and got 3 crap items, but back then they sent them in laptop bags. Sweet deal for a laptop bag and a shot at some cool stuff! (some people got PDA's and stuff)

I cant believe I never heard of this one, cool!
...adding this to the "check daily" folder.

For those who have purchased through them before....are they a reputable vendor? Shipping, etc ok?

They are a reputable vendor. Only thing you have to watch out for are the 90 day warranties on some stuff. Much of what they sell is refurbished. I've heard horror stories of hard-drives crashing, but that's really not their fault. They sell what they get, and they list it as such.

Can take a couple weeks if you buy something in a woot-off, but that's because they have literally THOUSANDS of items bought in a day.
