Assgnomes are widely believed to have been the originators of the asshattery infection which has plagued the internet since it's opening to the general public. It would seem that a group of pissed of anthropology professors , enraged by having to share their intellectual apparatus with the group of revived troglodytes who frequent forums, found a way to sneak a small indigenous group of assgnomes into the server at the University of Penn. They have been wreaking havoc ever since.
