Does Anyone Skateboard?

I want to get into skating and I couldn't find many reviews of shoes. People say Nike Sbs are the best but they're a little pricy so i'm basically between Fallen Chiefs, Fallen Troopers, and DC Smith 2.0s. The DCs are the cheapest because they're on sale but the fallens are only about 5-10 bucks more.

If you can't get SB's get 6.0's, they're all I wear. I never had much luck with DC's. I used to always wear Emericas or Vans. I wore globes once but didn't like them much

I know that "back in the day" Vans were the best. Couldn't say now.

I used to skateboard when I was a little kid, all I wore was Vans. They were great.
My sister wears Fallen's and she likes them.

$9.00 walmart. They sell a skate board brand. Works well for me. I use them for everyday use and paintball.

I may be a little outta the times but...

A set of Airwalk Andy Mac's are what I used; Between 2 sets of those thing's, they lasted me 9 years everyday use including dirtbiking and...well...paintballing

Theres nothing fancy or flashy about them...They're just a solid set of shoes at an unbeatable pricepoint...LOW, lol.

Best kicks I've ever owned.
Definatley buying another set next time I go to town. (If they still make them, pretty sure they do)

I remember back in the airwalk days. Now they are cheap target style shoes which is depressing. I suggest going to the local skate shop and trying some on until you find something you like.

If you are new to skating its going to take a while to wear out a pair.

Do any of the following shoes have a cut/fit close to Fallen shoes, specifically the trooper? Adio, Avia, Converse, DC, Etnies, First Team Sports, Skechers, Vans, World Industries, Zoo York.

i've had several pairs of fallens and i love them, my troopers have been around for 4 years now and i still wear them

The reason i asked the question above is because no one sells fallens locally but my friends reccomned them so I'd like to have a similar fitting shoe to try on because I have wide feet and I'm not exactly sure what size I will need. The list above is the shoes that my local sporting goods store sells.
