What did we learn from all this?

You don't do hijinks in a car.... during the day.

You do them at night, with lookouts, and police scanners.

The same goes for drag racing.

Uhm... I wouldn't anything about that..

Especially since Staten Island was a hotbed of street racing in the early 90's, specifically South Ave, late thursday nights...

Nope, nope, nope...

IIRC they cant ticket you for doughnuts unless oyur on public property. But still.

I have a simmilar story, but in the High School parking lot, and 5 or so years ago. Only thing is I live behind a chuch (My Grandpa owns/pastors, and Dad as well, We all maintain the place, we built it too) and have to drive through the parking lot to get home. I would have done them on my own land, but the idea hit me while testing out my new clutch in my truck. So I got off with a warning and the cop followed me until I turned into the church parking lot. I thought for shure he was going to pull me and Id have to explain that I live there or get a big fat ticket. Oh and this was at night for those interested. Then told Dad what had happened and went back out to our parking lot to spin some more

As a child, before we laid asphalt, we had gravel and I had a Go Cart. Doughnuts and brodies all over the place. We used to race for time. Those were the days, man they were fun.

Doughnuts are good, must be a Love/Hate thing with Cops

Scanners and cell phones are a blessing for the street racing crowd. Not that I've ever been there. I have never stood on the side of the road, at 3am to watch street races, between eight second quarter mile cars either.
