I have heard from multiple sources that squirrel is actually good-eatin'! But one of those guys also asked for a "buuudddddddiiiiiiiiiiittttteeeeeee". His friend was kind enough to inform me that that means "Bud Lite".

I wouldn't be afraid to eat squirrel. But, thats not how you make a melt .

I've had it before, bunny is superior as well as almost any game birds.

I have also heard that rabbits are quite tasty. In fact, my folks used to raise them for meat before they had me and my brother. As far as game birds go, I'm not too big on that. Pheasant can be good if prepped right, but the only sharptail grouse I ate tasted like a dried out pigeon. I am quite partial to catfish and paddlefish if it is cooked right. Both are plenty strong-tasting and greasy.

I heard bear is greasy too...

I liked catfish until somebody told me they taste like mud, and I realized he's right.

Duck is very good if prepared right. I also love venison. I miss deer-hunting back in GA.

Meh, venison and antelope doesn't count in this discussion. I prefer antelope to most beef in fact.

Trout. Thats good stuff.
