Fan of EMR
squirrel is pretty good (had some about 2 weeks ago), tastes like a bit like lamb, but the skin is thick and gamey tasting. I prefer rabit over most "wild" meats, along with beaver (rather greasy, stringy meat), buffalo (better than vennison), and elk (pretty good, not alot of a gamey taste, and better that beef).

I recently had wild boar at a restaurant in Charlotte... Definitely my favorite meat now.

I felt that buffalo left some to be desired. It was tougher than it should be...

Great trail festival, annual civial war time festival, held on a buffalo farm. That is the only "local" place to get buffalo here in North East Ohio, and my they do know how to prepare it good.
