I still would like to give the guy the benefit of the doubt and hope that the problems in his personal life are the cause of the goods not being sent out.

I have waited 4 months now, so a little longer won't do much harm.

I will also hang back from taking any legal action and hope that this situation will resolve itself soon.

Oh and Medic, if you do read this please PM me.

You know.... just as an outside perspective of this whole entire circus- nothing is owed to me, so if anyone wants feel free to delete this.

It seems to me by letting said individual get away with this whole thing again is just really enabling him. I remember something similar, but not as wide scale (OR the folks involved were far more quiet about the whole thing) going on about a year or so prior to this one. I'm foggy on exactly how long ago, might have been more or less than a year before this particular one started.

All I know is that I have seen this particular poster have a big sale, sell his stuff, and then vanish citing personal problems. He vanished for quite some time, people tried contacting, etc. Finally he made amends and sent everything out after a period longer than a month. People calmed down, forgave him, and gave him another chance.

Now it seems it happened again on a larger scale with his business he set up too.

Maybe I'm destined for a career in collections or something, but all I can think about is that all of everyone has to be crazy to just let stuff go regardless of what happened. Maybe something really DID happen this time, or who knows. Desperate people do desperate things, it just seems like too big of a coincidence after prior happenings and rises up a bunch of red flags.

Granted, for all I know this could be a legit case of The Boy Who Cried Wolf, but look at his prior behavior. It really seems to me like the behavior of someone who needs help, not enabling.

As I said, if Carter or any of the mods deem this for deletion, no hard feelings- I'm just truly sick and tired of seeing people try and manipulate others for whatever reason.

I've been toying with posting something similar to Listessa, but have avoided so for the same reasons she mentioned. She is absolutely right, and I feel that folks are getting duped by this guy again. I believe this is the third time he pulled this stunt in the past two years. He may truely have valid personal issues, but that does not excuse his behavior again.

Correct on both accounts do not be hoodwinked by this individual with vast endless stories.

Im just curious why you dont file now? You can always cancel the charges if he comes thru with the money/goods. When we did a deal and as soon as I realized that he wasnt contacting me back, nor sending me my items, I froze his paypal account with a claim and filed for a chargeback with my creditcard company. I didnt give him more then 3 weeks before I started to take steps to fix the issues. Eventually he came thru and added alot to appease me, but I never made empty threats, nor did I continue to cut him any slack. From the behavior that hes shown, he will not come thru with his end of the bargain unless you guys seriously take steps to make sure he does. Quit trying to work from weakness and start to use things to your advantages. Dont listen to him when he says he will send you your item and quit giving him time. File the charges now and when the Feds have him by the "boys" and he sends you your stuf, then and only then should you cancel things.

DA

Edited. 1. File police reports with your local PD. Then contact his local PD and file said charges providing them with the police reports from your local PD. Try to speak to the same guy at his local PD.
2. File mail fraud charges. U.S. Postal Inspection Service
3. File a IFCC complaint: http://www.ic3.gov/
4. Use Find a Person or Business with our free online White Pages and Yellow Pages to use the reverse lookup feature to find a phone number for him/her.
5. You can also contact your state attorney general and file with their cyber crime department, who will contact the local police departments and speed the process along.

Thanks DA- we have his phone, getting his physical address isn't hard. I know its ridiculous but I gave him till Friday. At the very least I will hold to my word, then I will file.

If he is reading this, be warned I will file.
