I actually got him on the phone last Saturday. He said the refund was coming by money order and should be at my door this past monday. It's now Wednesday and nothing.

Anyone else having similar results?

it's been weeks since i was supposed to receive A. Product or B. Refund

there is no good reason for this.. i know without a doubt he could easily refund us..

I received the item I was owed within 40 days or so and that makes my opinion less valid IMHO but I'll throw it out there anyway:

Why the Hell are the people that have been stolen from allowing him to just continue on his happy-go-lucky life while he has your property or money? It's time to make him pay. If that payment comes in the form of time in jail, court ordered restitution or both then that is fine but at least he's not going to be taking advantage of you anymore. Obviously he has not taken any threats seriously to this point and his false promises and BS stories are allowing him to continue living his life while you all are devoting time, effort and paying an emotional toll(no matter how small it seems, getting robbed and seeing no justice done bothers even the most well adjusted people) due to his thefts.

Quit listening to his bullshit and let the authorities do their jobs. If he is truly a medic he stands to lose a lot more than some paintball gear or money if he gets convicted of a crime.
