Please let us know how this turns out. I've seen people on multiple boards get scammed and then post that they've contacted the police/postal service etc, but I rarely see the results. I'm always curious to find out how successful this is.

Good luck to you, at any rate. Sucks to get scammed. The worst I've ever gotten the screw trading on line was over Heroclix miniatures (what? I like superheroes. Shut up!). Value was about $50 dollars. I let it slide, because I figured it wasn't worth the effort I'd have to put into it to get my stuff back.

Just found out that the "younger" brother was using the older brothers MCB account. The older brother stinkyskunk here on MCB caught him and is going to resolve this issue. Will follow up with my results.

My younger brother had his own account "ericsson0788". He had thought he had made a trade locally with a friend for a Wii which he did have in his posession for about a week and a half. The parents of the other boy were upset that he had traded his Wii for an Xbox so the parents talked with my brother to get the wii back. Meanwhile, Sean had already sent the gun. My brother, rather than fix the situation, decided to hide from it. i have PMed Carter to remove his account.

I am really sorry that this had to happen here on MCarterBrown.com as I have made some very easy and fair trades and have met some very good and honest people. It sucks to know this happened in my house.
