Hey all The problem has been adequately resolved

I don't know exactly ware to start on this, so I'll just start from the beginning.

At the end of August I saw a thread ware someone was looking for ball detents for the VM-68. In said thread A.c. Basbas replied and said he would make him some.

Well I was looking for some myself so I PMed him and asked if he'd make me some as well.

We talked about prices and he said he would take any trades I had to offer. I had a brand new still in packing 12" J&J ceramic barrel for the VM. I offered to give him that barrel for 5 ball detents, and he agreed to said deal.

I sent the barrel out by USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation in a nice custom made box with at least 2" of packing peanuts all the way around the barrel.

He received the barrel 3 days later, and said he would mail out the detents the next day. I waited one week, still nothing. I contacted him to see if he had a Tracking number but of course he was too cheap to put one on it, I also find out from him, he just stuck them in a regular envelope and mailed them out that way. Instead of putting them in a small box or priority padded mailer and insuring them or putting a delivery confirmation on them, he decided to be cheap about it.

Well needless to say even after waiting a few more days nothing came.

I then contacted him again, and asked what he plans on doing about it.
I said either send me more ball detents or send my barrel back, but I would prefer getting ball detents. He said no problem he would send the barrel back and throw in a dentent for my trouble. Even though I wanted the dentents that we agreed upon in the first place. I figured at least I will get the barrel back, and hes throwing in a dentent for what I spent on shipping, so no harm, no foul. "Right ?" WRONG !!!

That was about two weeks ago and I still haven't received anything. Plus I see that he has my barrel for sale in one of his threads, he had it listed for sale since he's received it but yet he hasn't made things right with me. The barrel is still for sale even though he was suppose to send it back to me almost 2 weeks ago. I have tried to contact him several times in the last week asking him whats going on, but now it seems he is ignoring me. He obviously has the time to respond because he is on everyday and posts at lease 5 or more posts per day. So I know he's seen my PMs and I know he has had time to respond, but he chooses to ignore me.


The thing that confuses me is, his feedback is all good, no complaints.

But yet he pulls this crap when dealing with me. I have lost all my patients with him, and sent him a snotty PM stating that.

Has anyone else had problems with him ?

This woman has been nagging me for weeks!

I sent her detents and she claims to have never recieved them (I mail out 3 envelopes of detents a week, with no problems to date besides this one.).

When she complained, I told her that I'd return her barrel, and she complained about that! The barrel has been mailed, and she's still harrasing me via PMs, making negative posts in my threads, and making accusations.

Now shes bringing up weeks-old threads? The barrel was "mine" when I posted that F/S thread... It's since been updated to not include it!

It's slander.... She's a newish member with no feedback, meanwhile I've got a good reputation here, on AO, and on PbN concerning selling, buying, and detents.

Look at the facts... I've got the receipts for shipping both items.

I just hope that GunBlaze has the decency to remove this post when she recieves her item back.
