Sorry to take so long with info on Chris. This is Hope (Tieandra) his wife. He was admitted into ICU yesterday by 8:30 with a heart rate of 170, bp of 50/36, and breathing like a dog in heat. He had a fever, and even with BiPAP was not getting enough O2. They intibated and ventilated, put in a central line and have him on so pretty severe meds. He is in heavy sedation, and monitored constantly. Last night, when they made me go home, they had his bp normalized with meds 111/56, his heart rate was 88, resps normal, and mildly responsive.

Today will be a challange, they are taking away the med for his bp to see if he can sustain. If so they will remove the ventilator, and staurt neuro test to see if there is damage from 7 hours of low O2. They will test to see if the septicimia is getting better, and start a recovery plan. All this depends upon his bp off the meds.

When he comes home the real challange begins, no more waiting to go to the dr when he dose not feel well, going to the dentist on a regular basis, and frequent *** kickings from me when he refuses.

Will keep posted in the evening or early mornings when I have info. Have to do something other than smelling his pillows at night and not sleeping.

Remind him if he refuses I will brake his legs and use my tow chain. He will be taking better care of himself or I'll kick his butt.

Thanks for keeping us posted on Chris's condition. We (wife and I) are praying for your family and hope he recovers quick.
When Chris is stablized have him contact me for his free custom build (a get well present).
Just my way to show we at MCB care about your big guy and hope it puts a smile on his mug.
God Bless
Wally

Today's update... Chris is having some kidney and bp issues from the infection. They still do not know the origin of the infection. He iis on high doses of pennicillan and is now diabetic. He is asking for jello... The first food request since tuesday. If we can stablize his bp off meds, then he can get a normal room in the renial unit to work on the last of the issues and get him home. I an now staying at the hospital full time and doing the chair nap thing, but it is worth it to make him more comfy.
