So i got my tank re-hydroed and was thinking maybe it's time for a new regulator, since the existing pone is 10 years old. My question is, will I need an airsmith to put the new one back on or can i just hand tighten it to the tank?

The Man With No Plan
technically it just needs to be tightened to 45 ftlbs of torq
pretty much tight as you can get it by hand.
most people just do hand tight and call it good
if you DONT fly with your gear, then a little blue loctite and waiting for it to cure will make it super safe....
if you remove tank regs regularly for travel (like some of us) then hand tight and your golden, the little 50rd pods hold a tank reg PERFECT for travel too... just FYI!
edit lol... team forum hi.... haha

Haha... I was going to give the exact answer as SSC, lol... so yeah, what he said also I use a rubber pipe-wrench to take mine apart to prevent scuffing it up.
