Funny, I can't get my alleycat to shoot above 175 unless it's on liquid... Hammer O-ring maybe?

Semi random question. Thought just popped into my head the other day.

Would the JT tanks with the "guage" on the side actually be usefull when running liquid?

The Jt tanks have a magnet on a float attached to the valve, I think it would be very hard to siphon them.

The gauge is pretty good (in warm weather at least). The valve is not a typical hex neck. I think it has two small flats for a wrench. I expect it to have the vent slit on the side of the mounting threads, but I have not taken the one we have apart.

The 9 oz. are great size for a small back bottle (nice wrist clearance), but they are larger than 2" in diameter and cost as much as a cheap hydro test.

I think the magnet free floats. You have to swirl the bottle to get it to show up. The magnet just runs around the bottle. If your siphon tube bends near the bottom, it should be out of the way most of the time.
