Convince me not to buy a Desert Fox

I don't even know why I like them, but I do. Been one of my "Saved Searches" on eBay for a couple years now. I need someone to tell me that I don't need one, I don't want one, and that they are no better than the two mags I have that don't get used enough anyway. What's going on here? Give me 5 good reasons not to buy a Desert Fox... Please!

Not that I'll ever need to use this info, but... Do I understand that all ICD markers use the same threads? I could get, say, a Freak back for "Bushmasters" or something and use it in an old Fox? None of this applies to me, of course, because I don't want a Desert Fox.

Sorry can't help you. I am in the same boat. I remember when they first came out i wanted one. and or some twisted reason i still do... I say go for the puma!

You probably wouldn't want this one because it is basically LNIB. It's the Pre-98 classic version too, so another downside.

Striker- I saw your Fox for sale, and that is part of what renewed my interest in them. You are right though. I'm really looking for the 98 version. I just missed a nice one on eBay a couple weeks ago.

Titus and Mox- Why do we like them? I'm sure it would be heavy to me since my main marker is a Phantom, but something about the looks of it, coupled with what seems to be a good design... killing combination. Killing-my-bank-account combination, that is. They look soooo good in the silver finish (powdercoat?) with wood grips. Man!

Yes, they still carry replacement parts for them. And yes, you do want one, but you can't have mine.
