Gas Hog?

I finally played a game with my B2k 04, and this guy is sucking some air. I was able to get around 400 shots per tank, which is a 68/4500.

So my question is what can I do to fix it, as you might of guessed I don't know jack about this marker, got it off ebay, (impulse buy).

It was running at 300 psi.

Thanks for your help.

whoa.... thats pretty bad.
Contact ICD and ask them how to set your lpr dwell and hpr. before that if oyu strip clean and reset your hpr and lpr it wouldnt be a bad idea.
your getting crappy consistancy because something wasnt set right. like forexample you can run any gun at low pressure and very high dwell/lpr... but you will have really bad efficiency. all guns have a sweetspot!!

Good luck!

if your gun is bone stock
HPR psi to 250
LPR 1/4th turn past the bolt moving all the way back

lmk how that works

yeah, i had one of those too

(note the word 'had')

the were made to use 'ultra low pressure' when their actual sweet spot is somewhere around 400 PSI, but you need to lower the dwell to get the spot sweet, so to speak.

wow that b2k is messed up

my bone stock b2k shot at 220 hpr psi, 70ish lpr psi, with a dwell of 6ms and got 1400 off of a 68 45.....the tolerances on B2Ks SUCK!!!! so i can see why the variation from gun to gun

400 psi? What are you talking about. You sir must have had a bum HPR.

Every bushy I have (THREE) run around 200-250 depending on my setup.

As per being a gas hog, the stack tube rammer design is quite the contrary. You most certainly have dwell problems or the valve is leaking.

no bum HPR, found that it was sweetspotted at around that pressure in the HPR and about 110 in the LPR.

with that tuning i got about 775 off of a 47/3k

Again, not trying to be difficult, but I suspect your LPR number is too high.

Neither the Parker or Humphrey solenoids used in Bushies would work well at the psi. This is the upper edge on the Parker and 10 psi too high for the Humphrey.

Heck, the proof pressure on the Humphrey is only 150psi, which correlates to about 1.5 times upper operating pressure. Not to say it is impossible, but that is less than ideal.

What was your dwell set to? Usually 8-10 is the operating range used by most Bushies....

Were these stock regs? I am an ICD fanboy, but their regs were less than stellar.
