ICD on original reg Hey. I've been running my Fox on a Palmer reg for a long time, and can't remember if the ICD factory reg is any good. I am thinking about going back to CO2, using an expansion chamber at the vertical ASA in place of the Palmer Stabilizer, and putting the original regulator guts back in. Will I regret it? http://www.mcarterbrown.com/gallery/...humbs/cb1f.jpg |
Doesn't the Palmers Stab run really well on Co2 anyways? |
I dunno... Looks like I'll find out though. Apparently I was concerned about the velocity adjuster working loose and wanging me in the head, so I applied loctite... Apparently the wrong color... :bang::censored::bang: I'll check the Palmer site. |
The Stab will run CO2 just fine. No need to change it out. Nice fox! |
Well - BOO-yah! Thanks guys! I checked PPS and MCB (and you two)- all are in agreement. 7oz on the olde Fox should yield about 330ish shots 3.5 oz on the Fox should yield about 165ish shots This is based on the 20 shots I get from a 12g I dunno why, but I am SO geeked about testing this out :) Also really glad I decided to plunk down the cash on a Palmer Stab. Oh - Thanks, Mailmanmike! She's 14 years old now, still shoots like new. ICD made some nice stuff. |
