I just got my Alley Cat. When I aired it up, there was a leak down the barrel. I took a quick look, and all the o-rings looked good at a glance, so I oiled them up and tried again. No difference.
Can someone inform me as to which o-ring would cause a leak down the barrel? And what size they would be?

If it leaks down the barrel when it's cocked, you only have the valve poppet seat and the valve body o-ring to look at. They come out at the same time, when you separate the body halves.
If it leaks only when the hammer is forward, you have one or two things out of whack.
I forget the size of that o-ring. It's about bottle/ASA size. I think sugarstump and I&I still have rebuild kits.
That o-ring is not a common leak. It's static and held by the body halves (they're not loose right?).
If it's a small leak, try some oil in the ASA and shoot it through. The poppet may just be dirty.
It was cocked, so I'll look into those. Thanks for the help.
Really bad leak or just a hiss?
I think I found my problem. I took a look at the valve, and the valve seat seems to be missing an O-ring according to : part 28 http://cognitivevent.com/icd/images/tcat_schematic.gif
And it looks like the valve seat assembly has a delrin piece that is raised and uneven (perhaps a picture would be good to describe this)
Edit : It's a pretty bad leak. I only have 1k pressure on the 13CI, so I didn't really leave it on to see just how bad.
Sounds like two problems. 28 is the oring I was referring to.
I think the rebuild kits have a new poppet seat in them. Been a while though.(?)
Upon close inspection, the 28 O-ring appears to be there...just blends in and full of gunk. But the valve thing doesn't look right. A picture to show what I was trying to say earlier.
And I can't that off-white piece to move either direction. Also, is it supposed to be threaded/moveable with the brass piece? I can't get it to budge either.
Yeah, that white piece is the seal. It looks to be installed improperly or has shifted into a strange position.
The seal could still be usable, you just need to make sure it is level with that brass cog-like piece below it.
To re-seat it, you'll have to take apart the silver rod from that brass cog-like piece. But you want to make sure you don't damage either part while you do that.
When I re-installed my valve seal I believe I heated up that piece with a hair dryer first. I put a couple blocks of wood in a vice and clamped the brass piece in between the wood (to not damage it) and then I took a rubber inner tube and wrapped it around the silver rod there (to not damage it) and used a wrench clamped over the rubber to unscrew it from the brass piece.
Also, that spaceship looking thing on the left of the picture looks like it needs a good cleaning. The ridge of the hole in the center of that spaceship looking thing facing the camera needs to be clean, flat and unmolested. That ridge on that piece contacts the seal and is also important in preventing that barrel leak.
Oh, and if you don't have a vice or some rubber inner tube lying around, you try wrapping those pieces with a leather belt or some thing like that to prevent damage to those pieces when you go and unscrew them.
I believe they used threadlock on the valve poppet so you'll have to use some force.
And when you go to reassemble it, I'd recommend using teflon tape or blue threadlock to make sure that assembly doesn't come apart under heavy usage.

I was trying it with just my hand, and was wondering why it wasn't moving. I'll try the heat tomorrow.
At least now I know what's causing the issue.
