| Is a new Promaster a safe purchase? Hey all, I'm always on the prowl for closeout markers that are worth far more than the going price. Recently the huge price drop on Promasters has brought them onto my radar. The only thing I'm concerned about is parts support. I use all of my markers and I don't want to get stuck with a paperweight if I break something and ICD has no parts on hand to sell me. How safe of a purchase is the Promaster? I plan to hang onto it for awhile so I need to be sure it's going to be a servicable marker for at least a couple years. Thanks!

| ICD As far as I know ICD is not discontinuing the Promaster But Kee action is clearing out there stock of them so the price dropped. I wouldn't worry to much, ICD still carry parts for, and service all the markers in their line up. and if they dont have something there are sites like the Icd owners group. |

| From the research I did before going for a used one it sure sounded like I could not go wrong with one of them. And now that the prices are down below what I paid for the new one they've got to be a real bargain. Just don't expect the value to jump for your "used" one once they cheapies dries up. At best you'd get what you paid and at worst you'd have some fun and sell it for a smaller than normal loss.

| Yep. Don't be misled by the negativity surrounding the BKO and B2K- series... The Promaster is twice the gun an Ion is, ICD has great customer service, and it looks like they'll keep making them for quite some time. It's a nice low maintenence/highperformance gun for people who don't play a lot of electro but like to have one... Cheap too! What are they going for now, anyway? The last time anyone I know bought one it was $250ish.

| MCB Member | They are just like the fusion or whatever all those guys around here seem to be jazzed about. Except they dont have such silly milling. A lasoya promaster is a great buy as far as I am concerned. Their regulators arent the best but they are fine. That is the only thing I would change.
