| Active Member | Hey, To see what Classic foxes look like as compared to 98's go HERE Yeah, it's a darn nice gun. Trigger feels just like an M-16's. Something based on a Fax would make an awesome M-16, AK-47, or Thompson scenario gun. this is beyond my scope, but quite do-able. Can ya tell I love my Fox?

The Mag trigger mech actually shuts off air flow to the bolt where the Fox simply releases the piston/bolt. The Pnue-mech would have to trip the sear only on the fox. Seems simple [laughter] but thats a pretty crowded part of the gun. Still, it would be cool to see how fast a non-electric Fox could go. PUMP - on the schematic parts 26, 27, and 28 shut off air flow to the bolt.

| You would have to devise a way to control the sear tripper, not just "trip" it. Otherwise it would go full auto! Not enough room, so one would need to devise a actuator to activate the sear and then return it to the original position. |

| Active Member | I was thinking the trigger would be modded from a single piece to two pieces, a lower part (the bit you squeeze) to actuate the valve, and the upper part that actually trips the seer. The gun would not know it was doing anything differently, as seer function would remain the same. The only difference would be how the trigger works. ![]() Above is a standard Fox trigger mech. The lower series is the pneumatic trigger. Trigger on a fox is basically the same as a Spyder (et al)
