My typical way of adjusting regs (no gauges) goes like this:
1. Zero everything
2. Crank the LPR way up
3. SLOWLY increase HPR until noid starts to leak
4. Back LPR out until noid quits leaking, then go half a turn more
5. Adjust HPR for velocity/consistancy
6. Mow faces

After I do that, I very rarely have to adjust much, maybe an 1/8 turn on the HPR or LPR to get velocity/consistancy I am after. I'm sure since it's been about 6 months since I have shot a ball I might have to go 1/4 turn, but that's the breaks.
