Thundercat velocity problems

Alright, after trying everything I could think of, I'm stuck with a Beautiful Thundercat in great condition, that for some reason, Will not shoot above 200FPS, With velocity opened all the way, Recock IN all the way, and the mainspring adjusted for maximum tension.

The valve just seems like it's not outputting enough. Besides the obvious move of running it all on liquid, I'm stumped: These guns were supposed to be efficient and so forth! I would only assume they are capable of shooting regular velocities.

Any help would be appriciated.

Back the mainspring way out, run some oil thghrough, and mke sure the insides are clean and the hammer can slide easily.

You can be closing off the valve or forcing it open too far with that much spring.... or your spring is worn.

Follow the manual and set it back to standard, and go from there. Probably the best bet... they are very balanced, and large movements in adjustment are usually not needed.

I love Creek. But every once in a while we would get a Thunder/Alley Cat that just doesnt have a lot of power. I never nailed down what it was, but in tryin to modify my Puma for xtreme cold play I bored out the black plastic "donut" that is around the venturi bolt. I was trying to create a little more tolerance for when I iced it up in snow conditions. It had a side effect of making the marker shoot much harder.
That said, I run dual siphons on all my "Cats". and most run in excess of 300 fps.
