Yeah. I waited 4 weeks now and filed a dispute with Paypal. Historically that never goes well for me, but oh well. At least it was only 20 bones.

Local ICD dealers? mmmmyeah, thats not gonna happen. If it's not a Tippman or a SP, I won't be getting parts locally.

I am pretty sure they told me it was a Dye(Freestyle) and a Smartparts(Promaster) lawsuit, and last time I talked to them they would have continued to make paintball equipment but the margins were not meeting expectations.

Before my boys closed their shop this summer they were getting ICD parts from several locations and fixing Pomasters and Freestyles. Shop owners always figure out how and were to get parts and upgrades. That is why I suggest if he could not locate parts he should go to his local shop and see what they can get for him.

ICD still has a pile of parts for sale. if you call, talk to Tyler since he knows what is there. The girl who sometimes answers does not have much interest in helping, but Tyler will go check the shelves to see if it is there or not.

SP demanded money for the electronic guns ICD was making, ICD went to court and lost, then SP demanded even more money for the license. I would like to know more about the DYE thing, because ICD would have Prior art with the Desert Fox, which the free style is pretty much an electronic version of the DF 98

Stumbled on this over at AO, it was posted in mid Nov.

It never ceases to amaze me how people can ignore someone for weeks on end and then get hard core upset when the ignored party seeks alternate (but civil) means of contact. He insists that Rifleman was rude to his wife, but I am somewhat dubious of that. You sounded quite reasonable to me when we spoke on the phone. At any rate, it's gotten him off of dead center, and that's what needed to happen.

He says he's already gotten the boards to output battery voltage directly to the solenoid leads, so we'll see how long it takes him to get them to me, and if they will function as he said they would when they get here.

Hopefully this will be the end of my dealings with Goldie.

Big thanks to Rifleman for taking the time to drop that card off. You didn't owe me a thing, but I am thankful that were willing to help out.

Sometimes I heart AO. **sniff**

EDIT:

Tracking shows the ano batch is going to be delivered on Monday. Huzzah! :headbang:

I'll post up some pictars when I get them unpacked.
