So I finally got a decent cad/cam program and in the past I have several people ask for milling. Now to do a one off body for somone is a bit much I was thinking of coming up with some stock designs. Here is an example. Attachment 35241
Somthing like this on both sides would run $80 in run time. That should be a fairly average price but all depends on the design.
Just throwing the idea out there. Let me know thoughts.

I like that. Especially the fact it has front end milling on the lower tube. Although I still do not like half blocks. A full body like that would be neat. But I have a pre-2k body I am interested in having milled up. I'll send you a pm about it. But I like that design!

Are you saying $80 for a body or for modding a customer's body?

Milling on a customers body.

That one you posted yesterday is really sharp!

The first one is nice but it would look better if it was either an angle cut, so that the milling doesn't stop so abruptly. But also having an aluminum sled to complete the cut off milling would work.

I like the idea of a jcurt milling, but I honestly don't know if you could get enough people to purchase the same exact style to make it worth it. Maybe if you had multiple styles, or maybe something really epic like the ripper stuff

The idea was to design a few for people to choose from, and prices for each to machine.
