New field

Not really a custom work thread...but it is consuming my time and paintball related.

I was approached by a Racetrack out here in Utah about opening a paintball Field on their property for a big event they had...the catch? i have less than a week to have it up and running. And i am working days all this week so that really only leaves (4) 3 hour evenings and friday to be done

Gear wise im solid, as i have owned and been involved with several fields. We spent 3 hours last night putting up whatever bunkers we could. Not my first choice mind you but they were available and 2 guys could move them.

We will be adding about 20 to 30 tire bunkers after i bring my flatbed out. I would say this is the field at about 50 size and a third of the bunkers that will be in place.

Keep in mind that this is field designed mostly for people who have never played paintball before not tournament guys

If this is a hit and Miller decides to keep it around and make improvements, this field would be a great urban type field.

now to convince someone to give you a budget greater the 1g$ so you can build some quality into that field, unfortunatly IMO crumy feild = crummy play = not happy players

has lots of potential, seeing as the track only uses it (what) one or two nights a week, so you have a solid 7 day/mornings available.

In the meeting i had with them i discussed what i needed to be involved which was 2 nppl airball fields and 2 recball fields one of which would be a mock village. They had no issue with either...The tire bunkers which are bolted together and will add a lot to field will make a difference...If i had more time i would bulldoze more burms....

Where the fields are located there will never be interference from the races. We could operate everyday with out problems But realistcly it would be weekends and reservations

Basicly this is a stop gap and test and if things go will then we will add a much higher quality field...i really wish i had been giving more time and notice. Oh wel;l it should still be fun

wish I could be there this weekend and help support it, but I have more important matters to see too, namely, Woodsball in cedar hills with the family!
