Aluminum 3357 Cylinders

Kidneythief,
In a recent thread with NOXX55, I suggested he duplicate the 3357 cylinders in aluminum.
Cylinder thread

Back in the day, I had 6 of these milled and it kept my 3357s purring like kittens for many extra years of fun.

Noxx said he was too busy but recommended that you might even be able to do a run of them. I no longer roll with the 3357s, but I'd even buy 3 cylinders and pick up one for offdays!

Several people expressed interest in the short time the thread was up and many more would love these I'm sure.

Just a thought!

Actually, I was putting together sketches and samples to have 8 made for my custom 3357s. Let me know what you find out.

If I recall mine were copied off a new plasitc cyl and had a thin round spring steel internal snap ring deal inside each cylinder to hold the paint in. I was supposed to be able to remove the rings but never did have to.

While you're at it you oughta investigate making a harder shooting valve!
