I absolutely love the upgrade kit I bought from you last year. I started playing in '89 with a Splatty and since I got your kit, it's become my favorite marker again.

But then I got to thinking about my second fav (of which I cannot afford) the Duckslide. Could the two somehow merge? Could I invent a classic combo like peanut butter and jelly, chocolate and peanut butter, gin and vermouth or even hope to top bacon and chocolate? Well, I got to tinkering and so far here's v.1 of my Duckmaster. This is a basswood and wood putty mock up I put together to see how it would look and what problems I might have.


Yup, thats wood putty in the ball feed tube and yes a fully inserted paintball tube is a booger to remove.

Lower slide in the "fired" position

Lower slide goes forward to cock the marker and I hope to get this to work via the Phantom/Tagmaster lower cocking rod method.

Next step is to do a mock up using sheet styrene. I hope to hold the shape a little better (the top has a twist in it), figure out some attach points to the Splatmaster body and revise the interior so I can try to cast the upper and lower with Alumilite. If that works out, I'll stoke up my little homemade foundry and see how she looks cast from aluminum. Might even call on your help to do a little custom milling since I don't have a mill.

I'm not quite ready to hang up my face shield yet. But before I do, I hope to see a full working metal receiver for the KT Splattttttty
