Capacitors are cheap and I would just replace to be sure.

Also the shimming solution is just a quick at the field fix. It is NOT intended to stay in there. It will work enough to make you able to get a game or two in but after that you need to diagnose the problem properly.

Thanks for posting that Railgun I had forgotten completely about that. I really need to start visiting pbn again. I'm falling behind again

Well, the battery wasn't particularly new. But I've heard through spyder fanatics and some manuals that overcharging is a factor in ruining the 9.6s. Nah, I'm pretty sure my charger was fine.
