12 gram efficiency

So I made a stock class spump and want to get the best efficiency possible from a 12 gram. What would be the best mods to do to get the best efficiency. Keep in mind that I am running the quick changer directly into the vertical adaptor. So no regs. Can the valve be modded? Should I just try different spring combos?

a high efficiency valve, and hard valve spring may work for you.

what would be a high efficiency valve? I know there are valves that are opened up with bigger air passages, but If i'm not mistaken thats more for low pressure set ups. I'm thinking of making my own valve, so I can incorporate any ideas that might lead to better efficiency.

Is it still blowback? If it is you might try a trilogy valve, it'll take away any blowback gas and allow you to use a lighter main/harder valve spring. Or you can do the JB Weld to the valvestem trick to remove any blowback.

It's no longer a blowback. I've followed Vikes guide. I just want to ensure the best efficiency from a 12 gram. I'd like to get close to 30 shots if possible.

The best possible efficiency is the same like with other Sniper/Sheridan SC markers. Without reg you can get around 35 shoots above 250 fps, with reg... 45?

Best mods for efficiency are the same like with these markers - manufacturer name or brand name plays no role in efficiency tunning. Basic construction is what what maters and the P-Spyder is here the same like common Snipers/Sheridans.

Imho the best way where to go is:
- tight barrel (.685" or even less) with biggest possible efficient lenght (onepiece above 12")
- good sealed bolt (with o-ring in front)
- hi-flow internals (valve body, bolt, hole in the body)
- lightened hammer
- optimal valve/hammer spring combination

i just shot my spyder imagine that i turned into a mechanical, and i got 35 shots with a slight leak out of a 12 gram (crosman). so im guessing i coulda gotten 36 shots. i was suprised about how air efficient it was.
