| Newbie | Spyder Rodeo (Safety issue?) ok, well i'm the kind of person who takes things apart just to see how everything ticks... this is good and bad in the long run; good: i can field strip my entire marker, clean it, and put it back together in under one minute (preety good i s'pose)... bad: i took the safety out, and the ball berring/spring it sits on fell out, and i can't find them... i still have the safety, but nothing to keep it in.... i've e-mailed kingman about this problem, but they won't respond to me... does anybody know where i could get these parts? does anybody here have them? |

| Lord humungus the Mod | Hardware store is your best bet. Or if you have an old mag/sheridan frame laying around you could probably snag the bearing and spring from one of them. But the best solution yet is to take a tank o-ring and cut a small chunk of it and slide that in place of the spring/o-ring(you may need to trim it to the correct size). It'll work just fine...in fact ive received several guns with this little mod done to them. -Jake

| Newbie | that will work? i'm talking about the spring/ball berring that keeps the safety from falling out of the marker... the ball berring sits on top of the spring to allow the safety to be switched... where would i get a spring this size?...would a hardware store really make something that small? and the ball berring would be a pain to get my hands on... do you think if i e-mailed kingman again they'd reply? (for the record i only own a spyder rodeo...) (well, i own two old black maxx's, but they are only used in reserve) |
