vs2 charging...

just got my first spyder in a few years. it's a vs2 & i must say it's much nicer than any spyder i've ever owned. haha. anyway, i plugged it in to charge but how am i supposed to know if it's actually charging? are either of the led's supposed to blink or light up at all?

Nope, the charger should have an LED on it, Red means its charging and Green means its done.

maybe that's my problem. looking at the charger, it has no led & may not be the original. it doesn't say kingman anywhere on it.

right, but it also doesn't have an led so if a kingman charger would have an led this isn't one.

The original Kingman chargers didn't have LED's.
Here are the two AC models I currently use.
Model JE1025 Output11.2VDC at 40mA, without LED's,
Model JE1029 Output11.2VDC at 42mA, with LED's

learn something new everyday.. Thanks.. I think all I had was a car charger when the ESP frames came out. I know kingman doesn't make chargers anyhow. They are just resellers from a manufacturer in china.
