So I got an old spyder from a buddy to fix up, and im quite excited for it to come in the mail. As soon as I open the box, my mood darkens. (lol poetic) The spyder had an electric frame, which I have no idea how to fix. I got some new batteries to test it out, and the light comes on, but there is no action actually happening when I pull the trigger. The first couple times on an old battery it clicked, but as soon as I swapped the batteries, it stopped. Did I do something wrong? Here are some pics

was the battery you pulled out red? with my experience the board requires a 9.6 volt battery a regular 9 volt will often not work I have gotten a 9v battery to work afew times but only for mabe 20 shots your going to need a charger and a spyder battery to make it work

first thing, you need a 9.6v rechargable java brand batt from kingman. it solves eframe problems most of the time. buy it, charge it, try it.

You have an original board, dip switchs. It will work on a normal 9v. I did it for years on the one I bought when the ESP frame came out. Check the wires at the cap & under the heat shrink going to the noid. The end of the cap, if its pushed out, its bad.

je18a wires from it to the board. Cap is the round can looking thingy above the board & battery. 2 wires coming out hte back.
