My Son's first SEMI!

My Son is still a few years off from actually playing, but he has his first semi! (His pump is a Wintech Thunderbolt)

it's an early Spyder, with a Bob Long Frame, and Ram Rod Barrel (so I know where he is on the field)

Oh man I have an old APG mag somewhere with an AD for those barrels. I have never seen someone acutely use one untill now. SO how do they shoot?

They shoot like a four inch barrel (because basically that's the only part of the barrel that is effective). Very crappy. They have a sort of following as a weird barrel that wasn't sold for very long (and never got popular). They only person I ever knew that used one continuously swore by it....he had a huge problem with barrel breaks before he got it.
It is a nice oddity...it will get a lot of weird looks at the field, and will be LOUD, so try it out and if it works for you enjoy it.

So just how old is this little tyke and how will he feel about playing with "old people's" guns?.... Remember that color counts to young'uns. Get him something like this......

clicky to make biggy.

I've always wanted one of those barrels... They're pretty hard to find now.

Cool. Reminds me of my old Spyder. Hope he enjoys playing with it!
