Hammer 7 - New Pump Gun by Kingman

Why this wasn't already in the Kingman section is beyond me. Posting here also.

This is actually awesome.

When they say Dual Loading Capable, does that mean I can put first-strikes in the mag, and a hopper on top? Because then this is absolutely the marker for me.

Sadly it likely means you can have a clip fed marker, or a hopper one. Not both and being interchangeable on the fly. Not like the new DYE one...

True, but the 15 round mags are a respectable capacity, and the low profile is the thing I like most, which a hopper would ruin. The one thing I did not like about my Trracer is all the rails and pump handle, but this seems to have that covered. I think I might have to try it out.

For the price buy two. Have one hopper feed Hammer 7 as your primary and an FSR setup on your back.

Honestly the prospect of dual loading just sounds like problems waiting to happen. I'm happy to have options, but I'll just take one on the field at a time, thanks.

In any case...this gun will be way more fun in mag fed mode. :D

After looking into it, I agree that it would be much better to have a couple 10 or 15 round mags, and a couple FS mags.

Definitely getting one of these.

already looking into a ball bearing and spring configuration to allow the switch to work like our MR5. Worst case scenario this would be a upgrade.

We haven't had any problems with our MRX and we are almost one year into it. This would only be slightly different if we can get a bearing and spring config to work.

Been thinking about this, you know how on old wartime bolt action rifles you can reload the built in mag by pushing the ammo in from the top?

If there was some way to lock the pump back (ie remove the return spring), open the bit on the top and pour a ten shot tube straight down into the mag (having locked the mag spring down at the bottom).

What have I missed?
