Here's what I had time to work on this weekend. Had a side job to do; so I didn't get to mess with it as much as I would have liked.

I inverted the stock's sliding section to allow for a slimmer profile; and cut down as much as I could of the sliding section and the picatinny rail. It's down to two slots; and the scope ring overlaps the sliding section's mounting screws. The ASA is an Ion ASA, with the mount cut off.

I also ground this slot a bit to allow the stock to fold a full 90 degrees.

Here's a pic of the stock folded. This saved me about an 1 3/8" of width when folded, and appears much more compact.

It's a Palmers male Stabilizer regulator. Not a necessaary piece; I'm just messing with it. That will be my next move. I put the stock Hammer spring back in; and I'm going to see how low I can run the pressure at 285-290 fps. This is the spring that turned paintballs into paint before leaving the barrel. I should have some answers today after work. From there, I might reintroduce CO2 and see what happens.

This is true. I have one here, dabbled with it, and it's way beyond my means to accomplish. I made a purchase last night with Rap4 for some soft goods; and while I was at it, picked up a T68 pistol magazine. I will see what it takes to adapt one and report back here when I get it figured out.

Thanks for the words of encouragement, Keebler. I imagine it won't be long until the airsmiths here come out with some real kick butt parts. I feel like I'm merely piddling compared to what a lot of these guys can accomplish.

You can mod it to fit.
Just go to your local plumbers. And get a 90 degree bend.
I will get a photo up in the morning.

I just went outside and messed with the Stab a little bit. With the Hammer spring, at 700psi, I was able to shoot two clips within 284-297.

As a note to anyone running a mag with a short fill (4-5 rounds): be careful letting the spring loose. It WILL break a round in the magazine. This has happened every time someone here has plopped the last few rounds in a mag and let the spring fly. Guide that bad boy up. Also, the spring in one of the mags has been lazy about chambering the last 3 or 4 rounds. I'll keep an eye on it. It may be something I am doing.

To end. Does anyone else see George Washington in this chicken leg?
