Having compared the pieces, there would be a lot of work involved.

maybe you can even just make a longer paint carrier to make the mag 9 rounds? that gap looks just about 1 paintball wide.

Hey Ty how do you feel about disassembling the mag release and getting me dimension on well........everything? Or maybe borrowing it? I'm stuck at the release on the mag and seems easier to copy it rather than make something new.

I assume you want dimensions on the DAM.

Assuming the owner has no issue with me taking it apart again, I can get you the dimensions.

Earliest I will see him will be Wednesday.

This may have been put out as an option already, but instead of a 1 piece lower in AL to work with the DAM mags, what about a 2 piece system. 1 part would allow the attachment of the DAM magwell, the other would allow a separate trigger frame to be attached. Something similar to say an old trracer/phantom frame so you could have m16 grips or use a 45 adapter plate if you wanted to run them that way.
My hammer's still coming via the local shop, I'll see what I can figure out when it comes. Otherwise, if someone has a phantom and a hammer 7, how well would the frame match? sear etc would most likely have to change, but if you could use a frame, or modified one it may cut down on cost.
