Where did you get those thumbscrews from?

Also has anyone designed a non-crappy feednack replacement yet? The phillips head screws around the feedneck were very stupidly placed.

Been working on an aluminum horizontal feed, the finished one will have a pressed fit 10 or 12 round tube and utilize phantom feed ends. Still finalizing the design, I may lower it a bit and I have to figure out the mounting screw setup. Here's some prototype shots... I'll likely make a few and have them dust black anodized and throw'em up for sale in the next few weeks.

Agreed,I filed out the feedneck to fit a screwdriver in shortly after I got it because i was impatient, have switched to allen head screws and use a ball end hex, problem solved
Had an old Spyder Imagine flanged feedneck, wont fit on there without modification, probbally not worth the effort

Herrrmmm; a human experiment is in order. The round buzzing by was definitely noticable once the cover was installed.

So I propose that you shoot towards someone blindfolded; whilst you move around him in random directions, and see if he can spot your general location. If the gun was absolutely dead silent, I'd bet the high pitched sound of that round whould pinpoint your general location by better than 45*. I'm really, really interested in knowing if I'm correct.

Btw, I pm'd you about this stuffs.
