What grit do folks recommend for sanding the pump handle to use larger od barrels?

Skimmed through the thread again but didn't see it, might've been mentioned in the news thread instead. Finally gonna put this spyder-threaded freak to good use.

Everyone is putting a oring on the bolt, right? The blowby up the feedneck is laughable. Just unbelievably bad.

We are working on it

We have to figure out if the flat portion of the bolt is necessary for feeding first strikes. If not then a rounded bolt will be easyer to put an oring on.

don't know why the new one didn't have an oring, the original came with one. no need to change that.

Oh is that it? The breech is round so the air is rushing through the flat part?

The flat spot is just so it doesn't get hung up or break the fins on the First Strike round as the bolt passes over it. The only way you might be able to stop the blowback would be to cut a groove or channel on the bolt and use a O-ring, Hope this helps.
