Lueseefur, are you referring to the screws that holds the trigger frame to the body?

The front screw on a phantom is 8-32 and the rear is 10-32. The screw that holds the breach in place on a hammer 7 is M5x.08.

Are you suggesting re-tap the hole, or did you just cram one in and make it work?

I believe a 10-32 is close enough to work. I remember there being a standard threaded screw that would work it just wasn't as tight of a fit as the metric version.

10-32 is almost the same as M5 (x0.8) The metric pitch of 10-32 is 0,79375 and the OD is about the same.

At less than $3 for a proper thread thumbscrew I'm not sure I'd want to get "close enough". Make enough switches and something is going to wear out.

Edit: or re-tap the hole/helicoil.

Hello guys!
I am new to Hammer 7 modding but I wonder if you can help. I am doing really nice M24 on Remington 700 and I just wonder if there is available completely plug&play lower for Remington 700 buttstock which accepts DYE DAM mags. If not please give me information what shall I look for to do it. All help will be appreciated

There's a guy on the Facebook page "Hammer 7 owners club"(https://www.mrmodz.ca) that's selling 2 different types of DAM lowers, one specifically for rifle mods, and Zak Sky King is also selling ones too,he's a member here

I have a zak king lower. And I like mine. 3d printing requires a little work on the inside of the magwell to make it smooth and not Grindy for mag inserts. But that's just because I'm a little OCD with this stuff.

This is what we've been doing. Delrin sleeves bolts and cocker detents in cocker threaded breeches. Though my next mod
May eliminate the need for detents all together.
