How easy is it to pull mags out? I would be worried the follower might catch and empty the mag.

If you pull it out "top" first (whether you have it up or down) it is fine (to avoid catching the little square part). As to the follower's nub, it is does not catch b/c it is inside the plain of the mag's edge since it has to go up under the mag-well body while inserted in the gun.

It is also easy to put mag back in one handed. I have yet to try this in an actual game, but i did a wearability/usability test last night. I'm wanting to play this weekend to get a better feel for the feasibility.

I would really recommend placing the mags open end up. The little catch holds well enough keep the balls in but not if gravity is fighting it. More then once i was short a few rounds because they shook loose

Had a chance to play with the fs spyder mags in the condor m4 pouches. I had them inserted upside down and they worked great, no lost balls or breaks. I had to smooth over every sharp corner so they could be pulled out smoothly. Not sure what the designer was thinking having protruding corners on a magazine... they catch everything

Pretty sure they were in limited quantities. As in everywhere is out if stock already. But could be wrong

My boy hooked me up with this from GenX global.
You can carry 3 mags in each pocket, I was carrying 2
10 rounders in each pocket and 2 9 rounders with FS
In my right side for the long shots. I also carried a 50
round pod in my dump pouch to reload between games.

The vest worked perfect and the pockets are removable
so you can set it up however you want, this setup just
worked best for me.
