Hammer 7 12 gram in frame feasibility

Seems like it'd be possible, but you're would need to remove about 1/2 of the grip frame structure as well as some of the rear part of the body where the sear slides in order to have a microline fitting attach.

Picture of what I was thinking

Any input? Like I said, it seems like it'd be possible/somewhat straightforward to do this.

Just bob the valve/make an ASA to stock adapter to run any stock you wanted and not have to worry about air.

As someone stated in the News thread, the grip isn't really meaty enough to house a 12g changer. Maybe if the grip WERE the 12g changer housing, like the JT ER2 pump pistol, then maybe...

yeah. I wouldn't mind beefing up the frame to get the changer to fit better. It'd need about 1/4" on each side which would make it much stiffer. I'm tempted to try it once I can get some better tools.

What's the shot count with 12 grams, anyhow?

When I played this Friday I got about 25, but I didn't do a test to see when the velocity dropped off. That's why I'm hesitant to do the mod, since I'd lose the ability to run a 13 ci or another tank.

Could you make the 12g removable to be able changeout to put a airline to a drop or asa so you could switch back to a bottle?
I think dannisslow has done some tests with 12gs for shottcount

I'm sure you could do something with a dummy 12 gram and just have a removable CGA-320 (ASA thread) to 1/8 NPT w/a 1/8 NPT plug to block the back bottle when the 12 gram's used.

What about tapping for the changer and than filling the voids with putty?

That's sort of what I was thinking. Basically put together the 12 gram changer + ASA + micro fitting+hose + micro fitting + valve then making everything fit into the frame and fill whatever holes are left.

Hardest part will be to tap the valve and make room in the frame.

The worst you may have to do is maybe get some kind of resin
