I am going to pick one up shortly.... I want a semi auto FS gun and well don't want to commit to something that cost 800+

Once that goes down.... expect some of the usual tinkerage.

Exactly my reason for getting one. I'm still breaking it in (just shot it in the backyard). Mag feeding regular paintballs has resulted to some double feeds and barrel breaks, but it's also brittle winter paint. First strikes where better, surprisingly first strikes would shoot through barrel breaks and not get affected much at all.

T shaped automag style with the cross bar of the T being much "longer" allowing for the twist change between mag/hopper feeding

Kingman is the only company making barrels at the moment. We have a 12", 14" and 18" barrels. They are all first strike compatible and you can change out the barrel tip with numerous lapco accessories. Check with your favorite store on the barrel choices.

A rumor surfaced by a Lapco employee that a FS rifled barrel will be launched at next weeks paintball extravaganza. I will report any news on this next week.

If this is true I will be buying a Hammer 7, and some of my friends will be getting either MR5 or Hammer. It sucks to pay $400 for a T9.1 to have to pay another $100 for rifled FS barrel!

Now if only it was still possible to reliably shoot regular paintballs through those rifled barrels.
