| PMI Pure energy reg is worth its weight as a foregrip, nothing else. Thor should be a bit better. find a WGP reg, there is sualy one in the FS section around here.. past that, look for a Tornado or Black Ice.

| I might try a wgp. I'd prefer something easier to adjust, but thats not really a necessity. Anyone know what the range on the stock shutter reg was, and what the typical ballpark operating pressure was out of the box?

| Just got a shutter from lrrp, and it ran 800 out of the box. 800 is what those guns want to run, anything lower than 600 and you start to get some recock issues.

| Well, doesn't a stock wgp reg top out at 500?

| Remember you are most-likely going to need a new Vertical adapter if you want to add a reg. Kingmann decided not to use ASA threads on their vertical adapters so you can't just screw a regulator in there. I've never understood that, the use of non-standard hole spacing on the bottom of the grip-frame or the metric fasteners when the rest of the PB world uses imperial. They don't make after market parts so why make it hard to upgrade their markers?

| nelson fanboy | it depends on which spyder. the older compacts had ASA vert air adapters, and i believe it was standard up to rodeo or some such where it switched out the the impossible-to-find-regs-for-it set up unless you dual-regged it. there are parts on the spyder that is imperial, and parts that arent. its made in TAIWAN, so its METRIC mostly, the Milly i have has an AKA valve, Supafly bolt, WGP reg (thanks sly1!) Bob Long Battle frame, and i dont know what its at in psi-wise, but its recocking just fine after i sweet spotted the WGP reg and spring combo |

| As I mentioned in the title, its a shutter. But I checked it out and its standard asa threaded, put a gas through grip in just fine. Thanks for the heads up, though, I'm glad I checked before buying something.
