Kingman Hammer A Cup Seal

So, my Hammer A is leaking down the barrel. Tried spinning the cup seal in the drill against some high grit sandpaper, but no go. Tried supergluing an oring on the cup seal, but no go. Of note, the velocity adjuster was screwed so far in and the slot in the bolt so destroyed by the previous owner that I can't adjust it.

Few Q's.

1. What threads are the cup seals on the Hammer? 8/32? It's definitely larger than my Phantom cup seal.
2. In the same vein, anybody ever use a Trracer cup seal as a replacement?
3. If no, are all the white plastic Spyder cup seals the same? I&I Sports has both the white plastic and brass cup seals for the Hammer, but shipping to Canada by them........well, we're getting close to what I value the Hammer at.

I'm doing an order from Bacci shortly, so I'm hoping something like this will work:
Late model Trracer cup seal base in 8x32 threads
or
Brass 8/32 cup seal

Thanks.

Spyder cup seals and Hammer(old style) cup seals are different.
the Spyder valve seat seals against a flat cup seal, but the Hammer uses a rounded cup seal that rests inside the surface of the valve seat.

both 8/32 thread.
although I have used other "flat" seal cup seals on Hammers, the factory one is best.

Yeah, I&I Sports has two Spyder Hammer cup seals.

The white plastic one that looks like my old one:
Kingman Hammer Pump Synthetic Cup Seal (5 pack) - I&I Sports

The brass one that looks like a Trracer cup seal:
Kingman Hammer Pump Brass Cup Seal - I&I Sports

Are they interchangeable? If yes, I'd be more apt to try the brass one as you could probably rebuild it easier.

Sigh, it looks like I&I is my only hope. Searching Badlands site proved fruitless. Maybe I'll give the locals a try.

Spyder and Hammer cup seals are different, but they having the same thread (it is metric thread imho M4). You can can buy Spyder cup seal and modify his shape on drillpress.

Anyway, both of these cupseals are not perfect - they are made from hard material and having not optimal shape. Best is made own cupseal from piece of PTFE (= Teflon).

On my old hammer I always used a spyder cup seal. They worked just fine. Never tried a brass one.

I'll try a standard one and get back to you all. The local shop stocks them.

As an update, I grabbed a "standard" Spyder cupseal from Flagswipe here in London. Installed it and dry fired 5 or so rounds. No more leak. Gonna give 'er a go at CC2 and see how it holds up.
