New to Spyders got some Q's

OK,
A while back I got a Spyder for free. I have been using ti as my loaner marker, but have had an itch to to some slight mods. I have a few compatability questions. I know that for the most part a Spyder is a Spyder, but for my Spyder TL...

1: Where can I get a vert ASA? Which ones are compatable?

2: Will any Spyder frame fit it, or are there specific units?

3: Other than a barrel, what are the best "bang-for-the-buck" mods/ups for the T/L?

For the vertical asa you can remove the expansion chamber (or gas through grip) and screw your bottle right on there. You'll probably need a tank with an on/off as I don't think the stock adapter has the pin. Or, use a 12 gram changer.

Pretty much any spyder frame will fit.

As far as mods go it depends on what you want it to do. Removing the venturi from the stock bolt will allow you better efficiency. Adding an electronic grip frame will make it shoot faster. Boring out the valve will give you better efficiency.

This is about the best site I've found to answer all your spyder questions The Spyder Pages

Good information, but one small problem - my TL does not have the vert ASA, it has the small pipe-thread piece. I think the TL+ guns had vert ASA.

BUT, a TL+ ASA should fit just fine.

32 degrees offers a vertical air adapter for that. Lapco made a good one, so did TASO.

As far as upgrades I'd recommend getting a bolt (or modifying your current one) with an o-ring on the tip. Helps with blowback up the feed tube & helps the paint feed better.
