Switching from mag to hopper in the field

I've had my Hammer7 for a while now, and though I don't use it much locally, it's great for biggames and using FSRs.

Now I was wondering, does anyone have any tips or ideas on switching from mag (loaded with FSR) to hopper (loaded with normal paint) on the fly, in the field?

I've had the idea of using a thumb screw to be able to quickly unlock the breach, turn the barrel and re-lock it, but fear this might take too long for quick, high-action moments. Also it would be somewhat difficult with gloves on.

Another idea I had involves some sort of metal detend setup when you could "snap" the barrel around, much like old automag twist locks. THis, I fear, might not work because you could just as easily pull the whole breach out of the body (shooting the marker might even push it out perhaps).

Does anyone have any experience with this at all?

I use the large body thumb screw from a phantom. Works great.
